What equipment was used on this record?
At the beginning of the project, the Ratzlow used a Korg D-16 that he bought on e-bay for about $400. It recorded up to 8 digital tracks at a time, but had to be transferred to computer in a slow process. Towards the end of the project, the Ratzlow started using an Mbox and Protools on a 12 inch Powerbook.

Why do the stickers included in the record suck?
We had them printed by a printer who beat the competition by more than $500. They delayed the printing so long we didn't have time to get replacement stickers made. Next time, we'll spare no expense for the fans.

When is the Ratzlow's birthday?
August 3rd, a long time ago.

What should I get the Ratzlow for Christmas and for his birthday?
Cotton boxers with animals on them (size small); colorful shirts especially wide stripes (size medium or 15 1/2 x 32); bad but actually good art.

What is the Ratzlow's connection to the "Gay Boyfriend" video?
Unemployed in 2002, the Ratzlow started recording some songs for his friends The Hazzards. At the same time, his friend Ryan McFaul was looking for an interesting project to direct. The Ratzlow brought them all together to make a music video which was one of the best experiences of his life. Ryan and the Ratzlow developed the concept together, they both produced, and Ryan directed and animated. If you have no idea what this all about, you should. Check out the video at Ryantown.

How old is the Ratzlow in that little portrait that comes with the CD?
That's his senior high school portrait which was taken in his junior year. He was about 16 and a half and still a virgin.
